A win's a win. Early in the season, Michigan State football is always trying to sort out the depth chart, and you don't know what kind of team the Spartans will be until Weeks 2 or 3. Fortunately for Jonathan Smith and Co., the biggest growth usually comes between the first two weeks.
That means Boston College should see a better version of Michigan State next week.
That's a good thing, especially because the Spartans sputtered in the second half of what looked like a potential blowout after 30 minutes of action. This team still has things to work on.
