If you sat down to watch some NFL preseason action on Friday night, you would've seen three former Michigan State football players in action, looking to make 53-man rosters.

But two other Spartans stood out above the rest: Nate Carter and Kendell Brooks.
Carter and Brooks squared off on Friday night in Atlanta as the Falcons hosted the Titans for what turned out to be an intense battle.
