Miami won its fourth straight game, moving within a game of .500 overall and into fourth place in the NCHC, defeating Denver, 3-1.

The teams traded goals in the first period, and it stayed that way until late in the second when Jack Roslovic scored a power-play goal for Miami, which proved to be the game winner.
