Miami won its fourth straight game, moving within a game of .500 overall and into fourth place in the NCHC, defeating Denver, 3-1.
The teams traded goals in the first period, and it stayed that way until late in the second when Jack Roslovic scored a power-play goal for Miami, which proved to be the game winner.
"We've been playing like that for a while now," Miami coach Enrico Blasi said. "Guys feel good about what they're doing right now, and they're playing for each other and trusting each other, and when you do that, you play hard.
