Yelich cuts deep with a two-run blast, Marlins unceremoniously swept out of Milwaukee

The Marlins were within striking distance late in their game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, but an old friend’s home run in the fourth inning proved to be the difference.

Christian Yelich hit a two-run homer in the fourth, and he helped Milwaukee win 4-2 on their way to a series sweep over the reeling Fish. The Marlins have now lost five of their last six games.

Miami got off to a quick start, as they took a 1-0 lead in the first thanks to an RBI double from Justin Bour. That would be the only time the Marlins would have the lead, as Yelich’s home run in the fourth gave Milwaukee the lead for good.
