The Marlins and Jordan Yamamoto face the Braves at home

It’s a lot to ask a rookie who is making his fifth start on the Major League level to do. Can Jordan Yamamoto take the ball and help the Marlins erase a four-game losing streak? The Marlins face the Atlanta Braves for the first of a three-game series tonight.

The Marlins will face Julio Teheran for the Braves. The veteran owns a 5-6 record with a 3.99 ERA.

Miami has fallen on hard times, being swept by the Washington Nationals on the road. The series with Atlanta will be the last of the first half of the season for the Marlins, who break for the All-Star Week festivities in Cleveland.
