Our Noticias, 7/29/20: COVID outbreak threatens Marlins’ season, games on hold

Tuesday was a depressing day for Marlins fans, and for baseball fans at large. The COVID-19 outbreak on the team that started with just four players (Jorge Alfaro, Garrett Cooper, Harold Ramirez and José Ureña) over the weekend soon had spread to half the 30-man team present on the season-opening road trip to Philadelphia, as well as two coaches.

This led to the cancellation of the home opener at Marlins Park and eventually to the postponement of the entire week of Fish baseball while the team and the rest of MLB awaits more test results.
