  • Tuesday’s minor league scores: Triple-A Jacksonville lost, 7-2; Double-A Pensacola won, 3-2; High-A Beloit lost, 8-2; Low-A Jupiter lost, 2-1; FCL Marlins won, 2-1 (F/7), and won, 7-3 (F/7); DSL Marlins lost, 2-1 (completion of a previously suspended game), and lost, 12-11 (F/8). The (soon-to-be-renamed) Beloit Snappers announced that they will play a 132-game schedule next season.
  • Once again, Miguel Rojas is a nominee for the Roberto Clemente award. It is the most prestigious individual honor that a major league player can receive, annually recognizing somebody who best represents the game through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field.
