NL Notes: Seager out for L.A.

After an impressive 5-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of the NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers have to feel good about their prospects going forward. However, due to injury, they’ll be without one of their more consistent players for the entire series.

Corey Seager will not appear in the NLCS, as he continues to recover from a back sprain suffered during a slide against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS. Seager hopes to return to baseball activities in the next few days, but don’t expect to see him against the Cubs, even if the series goes to six or seven games.
