Miami Marlins organizational changes for 2022 season

Even following the most successful of seasons, MLB teams undergo personnel changes. Contracts expire, individual underperform, personalities clash, etc. There was hardly anything about the 2021 Marlins that can be deemed “successful”, so expect substantial turnover.

This page will keep track of the Marlins’ additions and subtractions, from the conclusion of the 2021 regular season through the start of 2022 spring training.

Players

Free Agents: INF Joe Panik, RHP Austin Pruitt; C Sandy León will also be eligible for free agency following the World Series if not signed to a new contract beforehand

Additions: none

Subtractions: none (Panik and Pruitt are unlikely to be re-signed)

Coaches/Player Development

Miami Marlins have informed their Major League athletic training staff members that their contracts will not be renewed in 2022.
