Miami is reportedly considering hiring Acta.
Miami has taken the first step towards finding a new manager. According to ESPN's Enrique Rojas, the Marlins have interviewed Manny Acta for their managerial job.
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal confirmed the report, adding while Dan Jennings is currently serving as the interim manager, the expectation is the club has told him he will not return to the dugout next season.
While the Marlins are known to be seeking a new manager, the timing is notable. Miami has not yet publicly announced Jennings will not return as the manager in 2016.
