Marlins will resume 2020 season Tuesday in Baltimore

A COVID-19 outbreak within the Marlins’ traveling party prevented them from playing all week, made them the target of harsh criticism from across the baseball world and beyond, and even raised concerns that the 2020 MLB season would shut down. But following a league investigation and the transportation of infected players and staff members to a South Florida quarantine site, the show will attempt to go on.

From MLB’s scheduling announcement Saturday afternoon:

The Marlins and Orioles, who were originally scheduled to play four games against one another this past week, will play a four-game series this week in Baltimore from Tuesday, August 4th through Thursday, August 6th with one day including a doubleheader (all game times TBD) and the Marlins serving as the home team for two games.
