The Marlins offense exploded to the tune of 12 runs on Saturday night, including yet another Giancarlo Stanton home run. Stanton’s 57th of the season helped the Marlins blast the Diamondbacks, 12-6.
Brandon Drury homered in the 1st to give the D-backs a 1-0 lead, but the Marlins would open up the game in the 3rd. The Marlins would score five runs, including a two-RBI double from Stanton, to take a 5-1 lead. Stanton set a team record for RBI in a single season after he reached 125, breaking Preston Wilson’s record.
