Marlins pound Anderson, Brewers in Tuesday laugher

A Tuesday night battle between the Miami Marlins and Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park quickly turned into a laugher. Every batter in the Miami lineup recorded at least one hit, and paced by Pablo López’s six shutout frames, the Marlins embarrassed the Brewers, 16-0.

Starlin Castro busted out a two-run shot off Milwaukee starter Chase Anderson, who lasted four-plus innings and was charged with four runs on seven hits.

In the record-setting fifth, Miami sent 15 batters to the plate. Garrett Cooper, who finished with four hits and a homer, opened with a single to center.
