Although he has publicly stated that the Marlins’ losing streak is wearing on him, outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is laying down expensive roots in Miami.
Stanton, who joined the team in 2010, has bought a three-story penthouse at the Aria on the Bay luxury condo tower currently under construction in downtown Miami’s arts and entertainment district at 1770 N. Bayshore Drive.
The five-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom unit features a rooftop terrace with private pool and an outdoor summer kitchen.
The price of Stanton’s unit was not disclosed, but similar units in the building have sold from $1.
