With their win yesterday the Marlins are on a three game winning streak albeit a little late but a winning season is still within reach. Jose Urena continued his career year pitching eight inning only allowing two runs. Ureña has become the de facto ace of the Marlins with 14 wins on the year.

Giancarlo Stanton has hit his league leading 56th homer. The Mets didn’t walk him yesterday and he was finally able to do some damage. His 56 home runs are the most in the national league since Ryan Howard hit 58 in 2006.
