The Marlins couldn’t muster a run on Sunday afternoon and Jordan Yamamoto suffered his first loss as a member of the parent club in a 9-0 debacle against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Miami now has lost three in a row and travel to Chicago to face the White Sox in another interleague series.
For Yamamoto, it was his worst outing of the season in which he as charged with five of the runs on the afternoon. He talked to the media following the game, saying it is part of the learning experience of being in the Majors.
