Coming into tonight’s game, the Miami Marlins had won twelve of their last seventeen games. Additionally, their red hot run had resulted in winning four of their last five series with an average of 5.9 runs per game. The Marlins had never scored at least nine runs in four consecutive games. Unfortunately, they only got eight tonight.
