The Miami Marlins Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns bounced back over the past week, taking the final two games of their series against the Mississippi Braves before picking up an 8-2 victory over the Birmingham Barons in the 20th annual Rickwood Classic on Wednesday.
The Rickwood Classic takes place each year at Birmingham's Rickwood Field, which opened on August 18, 1910. The ballpark is older than Wrigley Field or Fenway Park, and is America's oldest professional stadium when it is in use once a year by the Barons for the event.
