Hector Noesi (3-1, 1.29) started for New Orleans (15-10) and struck out seven batters in six shutout five-hit innings for the victory. With 2,366 in attendance at Shrine on Airline and an 81° partly cloudy day in the cards, Noesi continued his hot start to the season. He now has 37 K’s and has allowed only four runs on 19 hits in 28 innings.
