You never want to see a rising baseball star get hurt. Brian Anderson’s fractured hand could not have come at the worst time. The third baseman who has surrendered his spot at the hot corner since the arrival of Isan Diaz earlier this month has been the Miami Marlins top home run threat, is likely finished for the remainder of the 2019 season.
“It will probably be it for the season for me,” Anderson said. “Obviously, not the news you want to hear, but at the same point, it’s baseball, and stuff like this happens.
