-- The nosedive continued for the Marlins.
A season that is going backwards in a hurry for the Marlins took another step in that direction on Thursday when the Braves rallied in the ninth for a 6-5 victory.
The Braves came up with a pair of runs in the ninth off Marlins closer Brad Ziegler, spoiling a Marlins comeback.
The Marlins had taken a 5-4 lead in the eighth on a pinch-hit single by Ichiro Suzuki, only to give it back in the ninth when Ziegler couldn’t slam the door on the Braves.
Kurt Suzuki delivered a walk-off single with one out to end it.
