ESPN College Football reporter Andrea Adelson has lineman Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman K.C. McDermott as the most likely UM player to become a coach.
McDermott is a rising Senior has started the last 21 straight games for the Miami Hurricanes. He is a versatile lineman. McDermott started the first nine games of the 2016 season at left guard and the last four at left tackle.
During his Sophomore season in 2015, McDermott started the final eight games. He started six at left guard and two at right tackle. McDermott is currently listed as the starting right guard for the 2017 season.
