Wilson sat out the 2017-18 season with the Miami basketball program after transferring from Mount Saint Mary’s following the 2016-17 season. Wilson was being counted on to add scoring from the perimeter. He was a favorite to start as part of a three-guard Miami Hurricanes lineup.
Wilson’s dismissal should clarify the Miami starting lineup. Sophomore Chris Lykes is a lock to start at point guard. Dejan Vasiljevic and Florida Gulf Coast Graduate Transfer Zach Johnson will start at the wings, Anthony Lawrence and Dewan Huell will start up front.
