For Willie Abreu, the moment a year in the making finally came.
Tuesday night when the Hurricanes baseball team played its final regular-season home game at Mark Light Field, Abreu looked up in the stands to finally, see his mother Rosy, back in her rightful spot.
It was an emotional moment for the Hurricanes right fielder, who has since last May, juggled the challenge of playing college baseball, taking classes at Miami and helping care for his mother, who had a massive stroke last May after Miami returned to South Florida from the ACC Tournament.
