UM's Will Mallory not practicing early as Hurricanes continue preparing for Duke

The Hurricanes returned to the practice field Tuesday morning continuing their preparations for Saturday’s game against Duke and were without tight end Will Mallory.

Mallory, a freshman, was not seen during the media viewing portion of Tuesday’s practice and it’s unclear at this moment if he was able to get any work in at all. Hurricanes coach Mark Richt is scheduled to speak with reporters early this afternoon.

If Mallory is hurt and unable to play Saturday against the Blue Devils, that will leave the Hurricanes with just one healthy scholarship tight end on the roster, fellow freshman Brevin Jordan.
