Like most across South Florida and all across the East Coast, officials at both Miami and at the ACC are monitoring the progress of Hurricane Matthew as it churns its way through the Caribbean.
As of Tuesday afternoon, part of South Florida from Deerfield Beach north through Volusia-Brevard County line was under a hurricane watch, while the rest of the region – including Miami-Dade County, where both Miami’s campus and Hard Rock Stadium where the 10th-ranked Hurricanes are scheduled to host rival Florida State on Saturday night -- are located – was under a tropical storm watch.
