Edward Reed is considered close to a lock to receive induction in his first year of eligibility. Edgerrin James in first in Miami Football history in touchdowns scored, second in rushing touchdowns and third in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage. Reed is first UM in history with 21 interceptions.
According to the Official Pro Football Hall of Fame website the induction process “will thoroughly discuss the careers of each of the 18 finalists for the Class of 2019 during the meeting which typically lasts more than eight hours.
