The Miami football team was heading to Charlotte to beat Clemson in the ACC title game. The Hurricanes destroyed a solid Notre Dame team 41-8 and the Hurricanes were looking good. Unfortunately, Miami stumbled against a mediocre Pitt team and seemingly fell into a downward spiral.
The Miami football team ironically squeaked out a one-point win versus Georgia Tech which was the low point in 2017 and that will keep them out of the ACC title game this year. The low point of the 2019 season was the loss to a two-win Georgia Tech team.
For those lucky enough to attend the November 11, 2017 win over Notre Dame it was one of the most enjoyable College football games in recent Miami football history.
