In a hostile environment, the Miami Hurricanes went into Tallahassee and captured a well-earned victory over the eighteenth ranked, Florida State Seminoles. At the game's genesis, the Florida State Seminoles appeared to dominate, but the Hurricane defense bent and did not break, which lead to an early field goal for the Seminoles. Overall, the offense looked spectacular, especially, during the first three quarters.
