James Blackman is a 6’5” 190 pound junior who is a native Floridian out of South Bay. He is a live armed quarterback for the garnet and gold who has certainly faced his fare share of criticism from within his own fanbase.
Blackman and the Seminoles lost their home opener as favorites 16-13 to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Blackman netted 198 passing yards and one touchdown however he accounted for three FSU turnovers to include two fumbles and one interception.
