Miami All-Time leading receiver, Xavier Restrepo, was cut by the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Restrepo will be a candidate for Tennessee's practice squad. Restrepo signed with Tennessee as an undrafted free agent.
Tennessee cutting Restrepo ends his short-lived reunion with Cam Ward, the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft by Tennessee. Restrepo will have an opportunity to sign with another NFL team before potentially being added to the Tennessee practice squad.
Restrepo had three receptions for 26 yards in three Tennessee preseason games. Restrepo had his first two NFL preseasons receptions for 26 yards in the second preseason game for Tennessee versus the Atlanta Falcons and added one reception for eight yards on Friday against the Minnestoa Vikings.
