Tate Martell took his second leave of absence from the Miami football program last month before the Hurricanes final two games of their regular season against Florida International and Duke. Martell’s absence caused a superfluity of activity on social media with fans speculating about his future.
Martell posted via Instagram last month that he was taking a leave of absence from the Miami football program due to personal reasons and that he was not transferring. The Ohio State transfer further stated that is there is a time he deems appropriate he will discuss the reasons he took a leave of absence.
