Five of the Miami football alums invited to the combine are defensive players. The lone offensive player from the Hurricanes invited to the combine is running back Travis Homer. Homer is one of two Miami Juniors invited to the combine. The other is defensive end, Joe Jackson. The combine is February 26-March 4.
The other four Miami invites include an All-American and three defensive backs that helped contribute to the nation’s best pass defense in 2018. Defensive tackle Gerald Willis had an exceptional 2018 after sitting out 2017 for personal reasons.
