Safety Isaiah Thomas commits to Hurricanes, continuing Miami’s hot recruiting run

For the fourth day in a row, the Hurricanes added a new player to their 2024 recruiting class.

Clearwater Academy International safety Isaiah Thomas committed to Miami on Wednesday, announcing his decision on his Twitter account.

Thomas, who is listed at 6-2 and 205 pounds, is rated a three-star prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings, and he is listed as the No. 59 safety and No. 624 player in the 2024 class. He chose Miami over offers from Auburn, Florida and Florida State, among others.

Thomas, a Toronto native, had 27 tackles and an interception in 2023 but missed part of the season due to a torn ACL, according to 247Sports.
