The Miami Hurricanes have certainly struggled at times this season, first losing to an unranked Louisville team to suffer their first loss of the season, then dropping a game against an unranked SMU team. Quarterback Carson Beck certainly wasn't at his best in either of those games, but he has been there at other times when the Hurricanes needed him most.
Beck is no longer really in the Heisman conversation, but he is still playing at a solid level for Miami; however, apparently, Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm doesn't think so. In his post-game press conference after the Cardinals lost to Cal, Brohm took an unnecessary shot at Beck, one that some might have overlooked.
