Kickoff specialist no longer a Miami Hurricane.
New Miami Hurricanes coach Mark Richt has a well-earned reputation as a strict disciplinarian. In what seems to be the first move to support that since his hire at Miami, Kicker Jonathan Semerene has reportedly been kicked off the Miami Hurricanes Football Team.
Miami announces in statement from Mark Richt that it has dismissed kicker Jon Semerene "for conduct detrimental to the team and to others."

Semerene, a junior from Weston's Cypress Bay High School, served as the Kickoff specialist for the Canes in 2015.
