No matter what happens over the next few days, the Hurricanes know they’ll finish the 2018 recruiting cycle with one of the top classes in the nation, with Miami signing 19 top-notch prospects back in December.
That doesn’t mean Hurricanes coach Mark Richt and his staff have taken their foot off the gas in the weeks leading up to National Signing Day, which looms on Wednesday.
Since the Early Signing Period ended, Richt and his staff have added two verbal commitments in cornerback Nigel Bethel and defensive tackle Jordan Miller. Longtime defensive tackle pledge Nesta Silvera of American Heritage-Plantation is also expected to sign with the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
