Redshirt freshman fullback Realus George signed a national letter of intent with the Miami football program in February 2018 when Mark Richt was still the Hurricanes head coach. After redshirting as a true freshman in 2018 George fell out of favor with head coach Manny Diaz and offensive coordinator Dan Enos in 2019.
The majority of playing time that George received during his tenure with the Miami football team was on special teams. George was passed on the Hurricanes depth chart by former walk-on Michael Parrott. Parrot is the only fullback remaining on the Miami football roster.
