Monday Musings: the door just blew even more wide open for Cam Ward (if that was even possible)

Howdy, y’all. Hope your week has gotten off to a good start.

We are still in the college sports dead period, but things will be getting going soon enough. Still, there are Miami Hurricanes-related tidbits, so let’s get to them.

1) Cam Ward was 99.9% going to be the Tennessee Titans’ Week 1 starting quarterback (absent injury himself). That just bumped up to 100%.

The Titans QB2, Will Levis, has opted for surgery as Titans training camp gets underway. He’s been dealing with issues in his throwing shoulder, and now, he will be out for the 2025 season, which completely clears the way for Ward to open his rookie season as the Titans’ starting QB (again - knocks on wood - absent injury).
