Miami's Rueben Bain named finalist to prestigious award as Hurricanes push for CFP

Rueben Bain Jr. was named one of 20 semifinalists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

Miami defensive lineman Rueben Bain Jr. was named one of 20 semifinalists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, the fourth-oldest individual honor in college football. The Walter Camp Football Foundation released its 2025 semifinalist list last Wednesday, formally recognizing Bain among a national group that includes 11 quarterbacks, six defensive players, two running backs and one wide receiver.
