With four of the top 11 teams in the Associated Press Top 25 losing on Saturday, Miami is projected to remain in the top 10 when the rankings are released on Sunday afternoon. Miami was upset 24-21 by Louisville on Friday night.
The other losses by top 11 teams were number five Mississippi at ninth-ranked Georgia, number 11 Tennessee at sixth-ranked Alabama, number seven Texas Tech at unranked Arizona State and 10th-ranked LSU at number 17 Vanderbilt.
The losses by the other four teams in the top 11 and the close margin in the Miami loss to Louisville project to keep the Hurricanes in the top 10.
