The Miami Hurricanes have done what no one thought they could do and made it to the National Championship game after a 31-27 win over Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl. The Hurricanes were the last non-conference champion to squeak into the College Football Playoff, and many thought they didn't belong.
While even Nick Saban himself felt that Notre Dame should have been in the College Football Playoff, he didn't think it should have been in place of Miami. Actually, Saban made a claim weeks ago that has now come true, and it just further proves that Saban knows ball.
