Cristobal was hired in December 2021 and salvaged the 16th-ranked 2022 class in the 247Sports composite rankings less than a month after being hired.
Miami is 0.18 points behind Michigan in the 247Sports 2026 composite class rankings to move into the top 10 nationally. Cristobal and the Miami staff signed the seventh-ranked 2023 class. Miami signed the fourth-best class in 2024 and was 14th in the 2025 247Sports composite rankings.
