Young Miami Hurricanes quarterbacks Tyler Van Dyke and Jake Garcia continued to impress with their performances in the second scrimmage of the spring on Friday night. Under the lights at Hard Rock Stadium Van Dyke was 13-17 for 190 yards and three touchdowns. Garcia was18-27 for 164 and one TD.
Garcia also had a pass intercepted by safety Bubba Bolden. This spring is important in the development of Garcia, redshirt freshman Peyton Matocha and Van Dyke. Developing a backup for King while he sits out this spring is critical for the Miami Hurricanes future.
