Miami Hurricanes utilizing electronics with dead period extended to May 31

Beginning when the NCAA Tournament was canceled around March 13, a dead period was instituted in recruiting due to the nearly nationwide quarantine due to the coronavirus. That ban was extended in a press release that included a post on the Inside the NCAA Twitter account. The Miami Hurricanes rely on electronic recruiting.

It has been noted frequently since the ban began about three weeks ago that Manny Diaz and the Miami football program have spoken with a multitude of recruits through facetime and have conducted meetings with their players through the meeting program zoom. Electronic recruiting will be normal for the next two months.
