After suffering a frustrating 16-13 loss to Virginia two weeks ago, the Hurricanes turned their sights on the Boston College Eagles tonight. With both teams coming off a bye week, there was sure to be a bit of rust in this contest — and it certainly showed. However, after a 27-14 defeat, perhaps the pitchforks need to stay out… at least for a little while.
With a few exceptions, nothing appeared to go the Hurricanes way. It was a horrifying performance for the Miami fans coming off a week where UM had ample time to prepare for a pivotal ACC contest.
