Miami Hurricanes stay hot with rally win over Pitt in first ACC game of the season

Behind a monster night from Malik Reneau and a closing spurt from Tre Donaldson, the Miami Hurricanes rallied past Pitt 76-69 on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables.

The win pushed Miami to 12-2 overall and 1-0 in the ACC, while the Panthers fell to 7-7 and 0-1. Reneau was the best player on the floor. The junior forward finished with 28 points on 8-of-13 shooting, hit 2-of-5 from 3, and went a perfect 10-for-10 at the line. Donaldson added 19 points and three assists, and Miami lived at the stripe as a team, going 20-for-26 on free throws.
