On Saturday morning, Homestead (FL) South Dade 5-star WR Frank Ladson announced his commitment to the Clemson Tigers.
An elite player at 6’4” 170lbs, Ladson was Miami’s top target at WR to pair with Neptune Beach (FL) Duncan U. Fletcher 4-star Jeremiah Payton in the 2019 recruiting class. That, obviously, won’t happen now following today’s commitment.
It had been reported numerous times over the course of recent weeks and months that Clemson stood out as Ladson’s leaders for their willingness to play freshmen, and their recent tyrack record of putting players in the NFL, particularly at Wide Receiver.
