In a move that had been rumored for a time, Jacksonville (FL) Sandalwood OL Kingsley Eguakun flipped his commitment from the Miami Hurricanes to the Florida Gators on Sunday evening.
Miami was the first team to offer Eguakun a scholarship, but that’s little more than an interesting anecdote at this time.
Though he was committed to Miami for several months, Eguakun had been flirting with several schools in recent weeks. Both the Auburn Tigers and the Florida Gators made runs at flipping the 6’3” 293lb Eguakun, with Florida’s effort being the one that worked.
