Upgrading the Miami Hurricanes quarterback room was a goal of Manny Diaz when he became the head coach in December 2018.
The addition of D’Eriq King as a transfer from Houston, signing Jake Garcia in the Class of 2021 and commitment on Friday from four-star dual-threat QB Jacurri Brown are upgrading the position talent.
When Diaz was hired as head coach, the Miami Hurricanes had N’Kosi Perry and Jarren Williams on the roster at QB and would shortly add Ohio State transfer Tate Martell at the position in January 2019.
